Janet was always such a beautiful, lovely and sweet lady. Her smile would light up the room. Her big blue eyes were warm and welcoming. She was always so kind and loving to me. As a child, I would sometimes just stand and look at her because she was so stunning. She gave me so many happy childhood memories. She took me bowling for this first time. She included me in family trips to Black Creek Pioneer Village, Plays in Orangeville and multiple swimming adventures at the Belwood Shand Dam. I will always remember the day Janet taught me to properly read a fashion magazine.
I remember drying dishes with Janet after lunch at my Grandpa and Grandma Robinson’s house after attending Bethel Presbyterian Church together on Sundays. The Robinson and Elgie families were life long friends and their farms were across the road from each other’s. Janet had a soft, beautiful voice and an uplifting smile. She was always so beautifully put together and fun to talk to. I often told her she was beautiful and she would gleam with her amazing smile. This is how I will always remember Janet in my heart.
It saddens me so much that this beautiful lady has passed away so suddenly. My deepest condolences to all the family for the loss of this beautiful angel.
My prayers go out to Charlene, Lisa and their families. I have always loved you two since we were little girls and I will always be here for you both.
My family is so sorry for the loss of your Mom.
Love: Claudio, Wanda, Jessica and Joshua Meffe (Gibson)

Janet was a lovely person. We have known her our whole lives.
Linda Gibson (Robinson): I lived across the road from her Grandparents. I had a lot of fun picking up Janet and taking her to the movies. My mom and dad were very close friends with the Elgie family.
Victor Gibson: l have fond memories of attending Cook’s Public School with Janet. She was always a happy little girl and was always dressed up nice. It was so great watching my daughter, Wanda playing with Charlene and Lisa growing up.

Janet was a wonderful friend and like family to the Dupuy family. Our memories go back to our days at Bethel when she helped to lead Sunday School. We will always have wonderful memories of Janet and Michele singing together at church. Janet was kind and loving and helpful. She always helped people out at the bank and kept a little dish of cinnamon hearts at her desk. I enjoyed countless conversations with her over those cinnamon hearts while my dad conducted his business at the bank. Janet was so supportive and loving. She loved music and friends and family. We are so sorry to have lost her so soon and especially for your family, as we know how deeply she was loved and how much she will always be missed. We will always be grateful to have had Janet in our lives and to have known such a beautiful friend. May God bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. Much love to you all, from the Dupuy family.

Our hearts go out to you all and you are in our prayers. We went to Bethel Church with Janet, Charlene, Lisa, Marion & Bill Elgie, and Lorraine Brown. We enjoyed staging the Christmas pageant and singing in the small choir with Janet & the girls. We also took turns with the Sunday school. We have many fond memories of the fellowship we all shared, as we worshipped together at that lovely little church. Janet, I have faith that we will meet again. Miss you so much. Sincerely, Michele Dupuy
