Brent Ballum posted a condolence
I was lucky to have spent a few days my uncle Bryce at a cottage in PEI when I was very young . I remember very little of the time we spent . Just bits and pieces . The parts that I do remember were a lot of fun. Over the years through time and distance I lost touch with my Uncle . We talked occasionally on the phone as I passed through Ontario . I'm sad to hear of his passing . My condolences to my Aunts Janice. Susan and Barb. As well as my Uncles Allie and Bert. One memory I do remember about my stay with my uncle is about an old dingy that was off the shore of the cottage we were at. I have never rowed a dingy before so I was apprehensive to give it a try . He gave me the basics from the shore ( because like any adult he wasn't getting wet ) he encouraged me to try . I spent the rest of the day rowing around until the tide went out and the small dingy died into the sad. It was a fun day !!! Thank you Uncle Bryce for teaching me how to row a boat .... your nephew Brent
