In Loving Memory of Susan (Susie) Gertrude Dolden (Warner)

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Susan (Susie) Gertrude Dolden (Warner), left us unexpectedly on January 17th, 2025, at the age of 68. Susie was surrounded by the love of her family, a reflection of the love she gave so freely throughout her life.

Susie was the heart of our family. She is predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Marie, and her sister Darlene. She is survived by her siblings: Larry (Marilyn), Marilyn, Sandra (Colin), Donna (Gerald), and Kenny (Michele), and brother-in-law Pete. She was a cherished Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Susie’s love and care extended to her children: Jennifer (George), Louise (predeceased), and Ronald. She shared her passion for the outdoors with her family, creating countless cherished memories filled with laughter, love, and adventures.

As a grandmother to seven – Nick (Kelly), Nathan (predeceased) (Bri), Ryan (Meg), Faith (James), Matthew, Samuel, and Audrey – and a great-grandmother to seven – Emily, Andy, Alisson, Elijah, Amelia, Violet, and Josie – Susie was affectionately known as the “fun Granny.” She was a master of creating joy, whether it was building snow forts tall enough to stand in, coming up with games, or getting into shenanigans with her grandchildren. She never hesitated to join in, becoming a kid at heart herself. Her presence made every gathering full of belly laughs, playful antics, and unforgettable memories.

Susie was known for her boundless kindness and vibrant spirit. She was the glue that held her family together, the source of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her legacy of love will live on in every story shared and every memory cherished.

At Susie’s request, there will be no formal services. She wanted us to honour her memory by reminiscing about the good old days, sharing laughter, and raising a glass in celebration of her beautiful journey. A celebration of life and interment will be held at a later date.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she gave will remain in our hearts forever. We love you, Susie, and we will carry your memory with us always.
